BILLET CASTING PROCESS:

Molten metal was evenly distributed on the cross feeders of the casting table, flowed into the water chilled casting mold, passed through the thimble and stayed in a 360area inside casting mold between the transition plate and start head.

Molten metal started solidifying when contacting the lower end of graphite ring, and solidify quickly    during contacting well-distributed cold water.  Quick water injected to the billet surface to make inner crystal become finer.

CASTING MOLD TABLE:

Casting table made of hot-resistant galvanizing steel contains longer service time and non-rusting capability.  All water injection pores and screw positions are drilled by automatic machine.  Casting table is processed by high technical horizontal machine.  The quality of all critical parts imported from America and Europe are reliable.  All screws are high strength steel screws and obtain longer life without corrosion problem.   The unit can do simultaneous casting more than 100 multiple strands in one set-up.  Less metal is lost in the form of gate on top of the billet, which is a great improvement compared to the scrap loss by using conventionally casting technology.

AIR CASTING MOLD:

Every casting molds is made of high strength alloy with forge process which possesses higher strength and better quality than sand mold casting.  Water injection holes, gas/oil pores and screw positions are drilled by automatic machine without human negligence, so every pore position and depth is the same without any deviation to make sure production of excellent billet surface.  All graphite rings made in Europe are formed with the pure expanded graphite tapes evenly wrapped and compressed under extreme pressure to ring types by our highly precision molds.  Casting mold contained highest safe technology with multi-sealing design to prevent cooling water from contacting with molten metal.
